What are the most important things to look for in a holiday rental – the answer will be different for everybody, it depends on their mood of the moment and plans – but today there is no doubt about what is needed here in the South of France – “warmth” – I have installed a complete central heating system throughout the house, there are two boilers, town gas and fuel oil, plus independent heat pumps/air conditioning in most rooms – added to this I have back up rayonnant heaters in the guest rooms and apartments.
I have put in three water heating systems, all backed up so if one fails the other to are more than sufficient for the whole house.
I have also repaired fireplaces in the house and put new chimney liners in to ensure they are safe and work correctly.
We plan to be warm at home this Christmas.
