Golf in Languedoc

The pleasure of Golf in the South of France is enhanced by the warm and welcoming climate, the scents of wild herbs and the colours of the garrigue and often the blues of the Mediterranean.

Close to Villa Roquette only ten minutes from our door, we have a superb 18 hole course at Golf De Saint Thomas

  1. Hi Tony,

Golf in Languedoc is expensive in high season, and with an average green fee of €60, a round of golf for two with a buggy, sets you back at least €150. Instead of reducing fees to attract more customers, prices have gone up, unlike in the UK and Ireland.

You can purchase a 5 round golf pass which will give you a discount but there are constraints. Our friends would consider Spain or Portugal to offer better value.

We have played the first 5 courses listed above and would rate Montpellier as the best for golf, hospitality, and value.

    Regards

    Paul

  2. Thanks for the feedback Paul – Other local B&B and accommodation people and ourselves are working on a deal with the courses to give discounts to out guests – so hopefully this will get prices down
