Our favourite local restaurants which we visit as often as we can are

L’Asparagus, in the neighbouring village of Valros, less than 5 minutes by car, lovely Mediterranean cooking, Menus from 13€ at lunchtime and 19€ in the evening, great local wines, excellent ambience, outdoor terrace. Open every day lunch and evening from 1st June to 31st August, the rest of the year it is shut on Wednesday. 04 67 90 56 28

La Raffinerie, on the Canal du Midi in Béziers, an old sulphur mill, tastefully done up with lovely inventive cuisine. Open every day except Saturday lunchtime and all day Sunday. 04 67 76 07 12
