Pezenas is the center of the Antiques trade in the South of France – twice a year, on the first Sunday in May and the second Sunday in October, the main street of Pezenas has over a thousand antique stalls – much is junk, but some bargains are always found.
The main street into Pezenas has 22 permanent antique dealers – I photographed them on a Monday morning when most places are closed adding to the decayed and impoverished air making you think everything is a bargain and that the poor old person selling would not know Louis XIV from Lady Gaga
