Work on this Website

After two years of working on the house and building the apartments and bedrooms – I am back to my desk in a new office and working on the websites.

I am having to re-learn a lot as the Internet is continually shifting and reinventing itself, the vast array of choices means there are too many options, many of them bad, and the over-simplification of Content Management Systems means it takes longer to do simple things and even longer to do hard things.

So my thrust at present is to cut out all unnecessary sites, keep what is left clean and fast and to add as much content as possible linked into an array of outlets – same as before really.

New Photos

I have a lot of work to do to catch up on the websites for Villa Roquette, both in French and in English – here are some recent photos I will be adding to the main pages.

Family B&B in the South of France

At last we are open for business for our family suite in Villa Roquette – our first guests have just left, a charming Swiss family who stayed with us for three days on their way to Spain.

The couple with four children, all under seven, made warmed our home with the children’s voices and our two dogs loved the attention as much as the children loved the dogs. By keeping our lawn areas a “dog free zone” and our rooms “smoke free zones”, our home is very family friendly and all the hard work for the last three years is worthwhile.

The family asked for Carole’s “Table d’hôte in the evenings and this went down (literally) very well.

Travelling across Europe, stop in Villa Roquette for the best break in your journey and discover the delights of Languedoc – you may not want to leave 🙂
