It is covering the opening for the work on out front ground floor apartment, the big advantage is that I can now make this accessible for a wheelchair and I am planning the interior to be easy to access.
We are thinking of offering very special winter rates – the months from September through to April – for guests wanting to stay longer than 4 weeks at a time – house hunting – escaping the cold (although it can be cold in the South of France in winter) – an artists retreat – or just ‘chilling out’

We have nearly finished all the alterations to our home, making apartments and B&B accommodation for guests. It has taken us over three years of planning and building work. We made many changes, our original plan was to only offer Bed and Breakfast, but we decided that with some clever planning we could add kitchens and living rooms and adapt the accommodation to be either B&B or independent, self contained rental apartments as well. We created the layout so be able to offer one or two bedroom apartments. Importantly every bedroom has a private bathroom.
The latest addition is a completely self contained studio apartment, which can also be a second bedroom to the adjacent “Sunflower” suite – we will be calling this studio apartment “Quince” as we already have “Rose”, “Poppy” and “Sunflower” to to complete this part of the alphabet we needed a “Q” word.
With full central heating in all rooms and heated bathrooms, the often chilly winter weeks in the South of France are comfortable and we look forward to offering fantastic valus for long term guests in our home, prices start at 150 euro a week for a double studio apartment
