Beziers Airport – Ryanair makes it Half a Million Passengers

Ryanair, the world’s most popular airline, welcomed on May 2nd 2012 its 500,000 th passenger Beziers Cap d’Agde airport. The lucky winner, Mrs Margaret Barry was awarded two free flights from Bristol to Beziers.

In just four years of attendance, Ryanair has opened seven destinations with Béziers Cap d’Agde as the hub: Bristol and London Luton (2008), Düsseldorf Weeze (2009), Stockholm Skavsta (2010), Oslo and Paris Beauvais Rygge ( 2011), Manchester (2012).

To celebrate this event, Ryanair has announced additional flights during peak summer season 2012: a fifth weekly flight Bristol/Beziers and the third weekly flight from Dusseldorf Weeze are implemented during the months of July and August.

Michael Cawley, Ryanair’s Deputy Director General said: “In four years, Ryanair carried 500,000 passengers to Beziers, with tourists who have saved a total of over 107 million euro by choosing the lower rates of Ryanair compared to tariffs of Air France. Ryanair will carry over 210,000 passengers this year to Beziers Cap d’Agde, providing more than 210 jobs and stressing its commitment to the airport.

To celebrate our 500,000 passengers and four years of growth in Beziers Cap d’Agde, we offer tickets at € 10.99 for travel in late May, early June to Bristol, Manchester and Oslo. These tickets are available on www.ryanair.com until midnight Monday, May 7. ”
